At Azizi Architect, our methodology is shaped around close interaction
with the client to understand their needs and preferences and exploring
an array of design solutions to arrive at the most suitable one.
At the preliminary design stage, significant effort is invested in identifying
all the relevant factors. This research period, though relatively brief, is
considered as a crucial step in the design process.
Out of all the design options explored, three or more are
chosen and further developed. Plan layouts, materials, and other
design elements are developed using visualization software, and
subsequently physical mock-ups are made.
As already mentioned, physical models in different scales play an
important part in our design process. They are used to make sure
nothing is missed, as they are the closest thing to the final product of
a real-size building.
Usually, a dozen design options are further explored in more detail.
Both physical and digital tools are used to better visualize the solutions.
Our experience has shown that visual aids, such as models and virtual
reality experiences, are more effective than text or 2D images for
communication between team members and clients.
We put public interests, environmental sustainability and client satisfaction first and foremost in every step of design and construction. In doing so, we strive to utilize the latest technology available in the field and occasionally outside of it.
