The new terminal at Kish International Airport expands the airport’s capacity to six million passengers annually. This four-storey, 527,430 sq.ft facility includes 48 check-in counters, a smart baggage handling system, advanced airport equipment, 10 escalators, 12 elevators, and parking for 520 vehicles. The terminal’s angular form and glass envelope create a bold, modern presence suited to its island setting. A transparent circulation path connects interior spaces with surrounding views, while the open layout and lightweight materials prioritize comfort and flow for travelers.

This proposed terminal for Shiraz International Airport was conceived in collaboration with ADPi, focusing on intuitive passenger flow and spatial clarity. The design aims to minimize stress and streamline navigation through well-lit, clearly defined circulation paths. The concept features a ground floor with a public hall, check-in area, baggage claim, and customs. Upper levels include corridors connecting to passport control, administrative spaces, retail, and service zones. The use of lightweight materials and organized zoning promotes an efficient, comfortable, and modern airport experience.

The new terminal at Lamerd International Airport increases the airport’s annual passenger capacity from 150,000 to 900,000. Completed in 2020, the 59,200 sq.ft facility supports regional air travel in southern Iran. Its crisp, glass-wrapped volumes and linear geometry express a clear, modern identity while maximizing daylight and visual connectivity. The terminal layout prioritizes efficiency and user comfort through spacious circulation, intuitive zoning, and easy access to parking and boarding areas.
